Description

This Drone Black-Box/ Tracking (DBB) system will be able to track the drones in flight by transmitting the geolocation data through the Low Power Wide Area Network protocol, LoRa™ to an operator’s controller and/or to the cloud (Figures 1 and 2). It will enable the operator to choose if the drone controller can be used as a LoRa Client-Server for point-to-point communication (managed), as private connection, or as a LoRaWAN gateway (unmanaged), uploading the drones’ sensor data to a cloud service such as TheThingsNetwork(TTN) or Cayenne LPP.
