Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) and Medical Photography

Description

Tim Vernon, FBIPP is a former Medical Photographer. Where he previously used still and video cameras to illustrate medical subjects, he now uses 3D applications and compositing software. This allows him to make images that would be difficult or impossible to create conventionally (such as the structure of a virus). It also allows him to create conceptual pictures to illustrate scientific ideas.

Tim will be showing examples of still renders and short animations that he has created using Zbrush, Modo, Houdini, Blackmagic Design Fusion, and Hitfilm.

Tim's "Fertilization" short film has had over half a million views on YouTube. The link to it is: https://youtu.be/0lu9MEqZnvs
