Description
Guided walk as part of WOVEN Festival of Textiles (Kirklees) to make and sketch in the open air on the Pennine moors above Marsden. I was the walk organiser and leader, working with a group of 16 participants in my role as weaver and researcher (working on textiles and landscape), The walk of about three miles, involved stopping on the way to sketch, make embroidery pieces and chat, sharing stories of textiles, the changing moorland landscape and hidden heroes of the textile world.Period | 9 Jun 2019 |
