Description
One of the founding members of the Lived Experience Network (LEN). LEN is a network of people with a shared interest in patient and public involvement in higher education. Initially aligned with the Higher Education Academy Health and Social Care Cluster prior to their restructure, now an independent continuously growing network, led by Jools Symons, Patient & Public Involvement Manager, Leeds Institute of Medical Education. The aim is to develop a critical alliance of people with lived experiences, students and academics, for the purpose of enhancing and improving practitioner education, patient experience and associated research in health and social care. The network currently has 188 members from 83 institutions from eight countries.Period | 2012 |
