HESP is an education and health multi-agency collaboration that brought together 10 further education colleges from the North-West working in partnership with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust; Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS; Elemental; The Lancashire Colleges; Merseyside Colleges Association and the Association of Colleges, to develop and implement a highly innovative Social Prescribing (SP) approach to improve mental health outcomes for higher education students.
