Description

The Frontiers of Science meetings are intended to bring together outstanding early-career scientists to not only discuss exciting advances and opportunities in their own fields, but to also learn about research at the cutting edge of other disciplines. Frontiers of Science meetings aim to provide all attendees with the opportunity to network and connect with fellow researchers. This scientific meeting is a collaboration between the Royal Society and the Academies of Sciences of the V4 countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia). The two-day meeting is spread across four broad topics, including pre-recorded lectures, poster sessions and discussion on the day. An organising committee, co-chaired by two early career researchers have overseen the development of each session of the meeting, including selecting a sub-theme within their broader scientific discipline. The topics are Materials Science, Astronomy, Life Science and Neuroscience.
