Academic mobility developed in collaboration with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), with main activities outlined below:

• Visit to Hospital (Grupo Hospitalar Conceicao – GHC): included presentation of research developments to the Architecture & Engineering department, visit to the hospital and observation of healthcare services provided to the community, visit to the construction site of the new oncology department.
• Delivery of lecture entitled ‘Conformidade automatizada de requisitos utilizando BIM: uma perspectiva do design’ to PPGCI/UFRGS (Engineering School).
• Delivery of lecture entitled ‘Uso de Living Labs em Retrofit de Habitação Social: o caso do projeto uVITAL no Reino Unido’ to PROPUR/UFRGS (Architecture and Urban Design School).
• Series of meetings with academics to discuss the installation of laboratories and potential to expand research collaboration.
• Series of formal meetings and informal conversation post-graduate students, providing advice to their research projects.
