Description
Leader of a series of three guided, creative, wandering (walking and heritage) textile workshops commissioned by the Woven festival 2021. Each walk had a duration of up to two hours and each commenced in one of two locations: Slaithwaite train station (urban walk) or Mount Road Marsden (Moors walk)These guided activities aimed to reveal the unsung hidden heroes of the textile world and engage interest in textile heritage and the moors and the industrial landscape of the Colne Valley.
