Description

Dr Dilanthi Amaratunga has secured funding from ESF to carry out research in “Construction and Women”. Total value of the work is £ 313K. Dilanthi is supported by a team of researchers including Dr Richard Haigh, David Baldry, Prof. Ghassan Aouad, Dr Martin Sexton, Prof. Les Ruddock, Paul Chynoweth, Rita Newton, Dr Bingu Ingirige, and Dr Angela Lee. This project will focus on low female engagement in a professional capacity within the construction sector (both industry and academia) and will involve researching the education and training needs of professional women in the sector.
