Description

Our finding that people and machines are better at identifying a face when they view an average image that combines multiple pixelated face images, than they are at identifying the original pixelated images, was dicussed on BBC 1 tv show Crimewatch Series 10, Episode 35. This work relates to the publication Ritchie et al. 2018. Enhancing CCTV: Averages improve face identification from poor-quality images.
