This media article is based on our recent journal publication on tryverting, territorality and psychological ownership. Our research suggests that tryvertising is more effective in self-catering accommodation than it is in hotels, and more effective in an entire property than just renting a private room. Tryvertising through holiday homes could provide opportunities for business regarding product placement, and also benefits hosts and guests in many aspects.
