    DescriptionFor a long time, many people believed that farming spread quickly across Europe and replaced hunting and gathering almost everywhere. A new study now shows that this was not always the case.

    In parts of modern day Belgium, the Netherlands, and nearby Germany, communities continued hunting and gathering for thousands of years after farming had already changed life in other regions.
