DOWNLOADING INSTRUCTIONS

Click the links under "Access Dataset", on the right side of this page, to access each application's specific download page.

Once there, click the "Download" button directly, without logging in.


SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Apple computer with macOS 10.14 or later
64-bit Intel processor from 2.6 GHz*

or

PC with Windows 10
64-bit Intel or AMD processor from 2.6 GHz*

* A processor speed of 1.1 GHz will be sufficient to run most interactive aural presentations of all nine applications, but the most complex presentations require the minimum processor specification as above.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - MAC USERS

Once downloaded, open the disk image (.dmg) to mount it, and open the installer (.pkg). Follow the steps indicated by the installer. The application will be installed as "TaCEM [Composer]/[Work.app]" in your Applications folder, for example /Applications/TaCEM Chowning/Stria.app.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - WINDOWS USERS

Once downloaded, right-click the zipped folder (.zip) and click “Extract all…”. You can place the extracted folder where you want on your computer. We recommend placing it in C:/Program Files. The application will then be located at C:/Program Files/TaCEM [Composer]/[Work]/[Work.exe], for example C:/Program Files/TaCEM Chowning/Stria/Stria.exe.

When launching the application for the first time, you may see a message like “Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognised app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk.” If this happens, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.

A detailed user manual and reference can be found for each application, in the "Documentation" folder located in the same folder as the application.
