The Centre for Music, Culture and Identity brings together researchers investigating music and musical cultures through a variety of historical, critical and analytical methodologies. With specialisms ranging from medieval music through to contemporary pop production and film music to evolutionary mimetics, we are a diverse and interdisciplinary group of musicologists and practice researchers with a thriving postgraduate community.
