Benjamin is a Senior Lecturer in Operations Management, he joined the Operations Management Group, at the Business School, early 2012. Since he has focused his research in the application of Operations Excellence concepts and theories in manufacturing, sport and built environment. His work has been published in national and international journals such as: International Journal of Operations and Production Management (IJOPM)Expert Systems with Applications (ESwA)International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management (IJQRM), and International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management (IJPPM). He has also co-authored couple of book chapters.

He initiated the definition, design and implementation of a bespoke Lean methodology aimed at reducing the developments’ cycle times and variations, as well as enhancing the innovation level of complex healthcare infrastructure. He also worked for Renault in France and Rolls-Royce Motor cars in England, in Supply Chain and Production, where he gained his manufacturing experience and was involved in Lean implementation.

Today, his professional interests remain within the process improvement methodologies implementation and specifically Lean and Six-Sigma. Certified Black Belt in 2011, he received the full accreditation from the British Quality Foundation in January 2013.

He first graduated in Industrial Logistics in France, then, pursued in Supply Chain Management and completed an MSc in Operations Management.
