Biography

Carley joined the University of Huddersfield in July 2018 as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy. Carley studied physiotherapy at the University of Southampton, and following graduation worked primarily in cardiovascular and respiratory care. She completed an NIHR funded Masters in Clinical Research, where her research focus was exploring perspectives on exercise amongst people with Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.

She has also worked as a Professional Adviser at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and as a Clinical Quality Lead for a multidisciplinary team in the community.

She teaches respiratory care, physiology, and research methods.
