Chaoguang Wang holds a PhD in design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and has completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Hong Kong and Bournemouth University, where he served as a Marie Curie COFUND Research Fellow. In September 2024, he joined the University of Huddersfield as a Lecturer in Computer Games. His multidisciplinary expertise spans game design, serious games, VR games as well as player experience and user studies enriched with physiological measurement. In addition to his academic background, he brings extensive industry experience, having worked as a game designer for six years at NetEase (Nasdaq: NTES), China, where he contributed to the development of several commercial game products, from concept to delivery and live operation.
