Personal profile


Christine joined the university in 2002 and is currently Course Leader for the undergraduate suite of courses in Transport & Logistics and has had teaching responsibilities in Logistics Management, Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Statistics and Information Technology. She has extensive experience of teaching all undergraduate year groups and teaches both in the UK and Hong Kong. Previously, Christine has also taught and coordinated the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport’s distance learning Diploma at the university.

Christine has an MA in Higher Education Practice and a BSc(Hons) Transport & Distribution from the University of Huddersfield, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is currently working towards a Doctor of Education.

Prior to joining the university Christine worked in the third party logistics sector, starting out as a graduate trainee with Tibbett and Britten and taking on various roles in warehouse operations, inventory management, quality management, site services and contract management. She also undertook a year’s placement with BOC Storeshield.
