Biography

Dr. Daberechi Chikezie Ekwueme is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in lecturing, researching, accounting, and economics. She has a strong academic background, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Eastern Mediterranean University. Dr. Ekwueme has authored and published numerous papers in international peer-reviewed journals and has presented various academic and research-based papers at several international conferences, including the 12th International Conference on Eurasian Economies in 2020, held in Baku, Azerbaijan, Istanbul, Turkey-Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. At the conference, she was awarded the Prof. Dr. Mukerrem Hic Best Paper Award for her paper titled “The Footprint of Inexhaustible Energy Usage and Financial Development on Carbon Outrush of Eurasian Countries”. Dr. Ekwueme's research focuses on environmental economics, development economics, international economics and finance, environmental, social, and governance (ESG), and corporate social responsibility.
