Biography

Donna joined the University of Huddersfield in June 2016 as a lecturer in mental health nursing. Preceeding this Donna’s role was within the NHS in Leeds, focusing upon embedding Care Programme Approach and good practice in care planning into clinical practice within a large NHS Partnership Trust. This follows clinical roles both within community, crisis and in-patient settings since qualifying as a mental health nurse in 1996.

Donna’s interest in education culminated in an MSc in Health Professional Education in 2009; during which time she undertook a lecturer practitioner role at the Univeristy of Huddersfield
