Biography
After completing my degree in pharmacy at Sunderland Polytechnic, I joined Boots firstly as a pre-registration trainee, and then as a pharmacist. I worked for the company until 2014.
After my youngest son started school I completed a post graduate diploma in community clinical pharmacy at Aston University. This sparked my interest in teaching. I worked as a lecturer/practitioner at Bradford University before coming to Huddersfield in 2010.
I completed a MEd in 2014 and am now studying for a EdD. My particular research interest is in the teaching of pharmaceutical calculations.
