Biography
Dr Fred J. Ingram, PhD, MA [Education], MSc [Information Systems], BSc (Hons) [Mathematics], BSc (Hons) [Computer Science], CertEd, QTLS, CMathTeach, AFHEA, is a Research Fellow at the University of Huddersfield’s School of Business, Education and Law where he is exploring organizational biomimetics, in particular how an understanding of biological plasticity can improve organizational plasticity. He is developing agent-based models and simulations of various aspects of organizations, including knowledge-sharing/hiding. Most of his 40 years of professional experience involved information technology, training and education (e.g., mathematics teaching), knowledge engineering, business analysis, project management, systems analysis & design, data warehousing, programming, etc. He is especially interested in combining AI and computational modelling techniques.
