Holly joined the University of Huddersfield in 2019 as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy. She graduated from King's College London in Physiotherapy, and clinically specialised in trauma/ MSK and complex discharge.
Holly has a Masters degree from the University of West of England in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Her area of research focused on the influence of the working harness on the thoracic limb kinematics of assistance dogs.
She is currently working on her PhD proposal looking at the influence of assistance dog on the key indicators of physical health in the vision impaired. Holly is particularly interested in the impact of assistance dogs in tackling the public health concern of physical inactivity. Holly's background in both human and veterinary physiotherapy bridges a niche gap for this area of research.
