Biography

Ilaria graduated from La Sapienza University in 2010 with a Bachelor Degree in Transport Engineering and in 2013 with a Master Degree in Trasportation System Engineering.

Since July 2013, she has been involved in numerous European research projects, such as Sustrail, In2Rail, Wrist and Capacity4Rail, as well as UK research projects, such as Track2Future. The main focus of the research is vehicle/track interaction at rail irregularities (i.e. welds, dipped joints, crossing panel) as well as ballast settlement.
