Personal profile

I qualified with a Distinction in my Masters in Adult Nursing in 2017. I began my nursing career as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Queen’s Medical Centre (part of Nottingham University Hospitals Trust). I then moved into working as a Clinical Research Nurse in Phase I Clinical Trials both in Nottingham and more recently in Leeds. I helped ensure volunteer safety after dosing Investigational Medicinal Products (sometimes First in Human). In these posts, I supported teaching in essential Basic Life Support and Immediate Life Support. During this time, I published my MSc dissertation and have now pursued my interests in academia and become a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the University of Huddersfield.
