Biography

Jiafan is a Lecturer in Accounting at Huddersfield Business School. She joined the University of Huddersfield in January 2022. Before that, she was a teaching assistant at Strathclyde Business School, where she gained her PhD in Accounting.

Jiafan obtained FHEA and teaches Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Management at undergraduate level.

Jiafan is interested in accountability, small accounting practices, SMEs, accounting disclosure and access to finance. Jiafan has attended UK and EU conferences to present her work and several working papers under review.

Jiafan is a member of School Accreditations and Validation Panels and Equility, Diversity and Inclusion Committee at Huddersfield Business School.
