Biography

Jiafan is a Lecturer in Accounting at Huddersfield Business School. She joined the University of Huddersfield in January 2022. Before that, she was a teaching assistant at Strathclyde Business School, where she gained her PhD in Accounting.

Jiafan obtained FHEA and teaches Financial Accounting, Management Accounting and Financial Management at undergraduate level. Jiafan also teaches CSR and financial reporting at postgraduate level.

Jiafan is interested in accountability, small accounting practices, SMEs, accounting disclosure and access to finance.

Jiafan is a member of SAVP (School Accreditations and Validation Panels), EDI (Equility, Diversity and Inclusion) Committee, Visiting Placement Staff Member and PAT (Personal Academic Tutor) coordinator at Huddersfield Business School.
