Biography

Employed as the Director of Health Partnerships within the School of Human and Health Sciences, Joanne is a nurse and teacher and registered as both with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Her 30+ years of professional and academic practice is grounded firmly in the improvement of the patient experience through her clinical background, workforce development activities and academic achievements. This commitment to providing high quality care has been translated in more recent years to concrete successes in the design of inventive and original learning and teaching opportunities, work in curriculum development and in forging research opportunities.
