Biography
Joshua joined the university in August 2021, as a lecturer in physiotherapy. Alongside lecturing on the BSc (hons) and degree apprenticeship physiotherapy programmes, Joshua maintains clinical duties through work as an academy physiotherapist at Manchester United Football Club and MSK physiotherapist at Sports Physio UK.
Joshua completed his BSc (hons) Physiotherapy degree through King's College London (KCL) in 2014, before later attaining an MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine at the University of Leeds. Joshua is also a current holder of the FA's Level 5 'Advanced Trauma and Medical Management in Football' (ATMMiF) Qualification.
Joshua's previous clinical experience includes work in leads roles within professional football academies and first teams, with former clubs including: Crystal Palace, Leyton Orient and Bury FC. Joshua also has additional experience working within a specialist scoliosis private clinic and the NHS.
