Biography

Kathrine Jensen is a Research Assistant working on REF impact, specifically supporting the development of impact case studies. Kathrine joined the School of Education and Professional Development in 2018. Prior to this role she worked in the Teaching and Learning Institute at the University of Huddersfield to develop innovative approaches to teaching and learning and to support, evaluate and disseminate pedagogical research projects. Kathrine has worked as Senior Researcher at the Higher Education Careers Services Unit (HECSU), an independent research charity specialising in higher education and graduate employment. She was a Research Assistant at the University of Salford on a project funded by the European Social Fund exploring barriers and enablers for women studying engineering and women working in engineering. 

Kathrine has a Bachelor Degree in English, Bachelor Degree in Anthropology and a Masters in Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen.

Kathrine is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
