Biography

Khoa Dang Hoang received the B.Eng. and M.Sc.(Eng.) degrees from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2002 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, United Kingdom, in 2011, all in electrical and electronics engineering.

From 2011 to 2021, he was a Research Associate and then a Research and Development Engineer in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Sheffield, UK. Since 2021, he is a lecturer in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at University of Huddersfield, UK.

Khoa Hoang is a PEMD expert with strong track-record (11 years) on technical leading multi-million R&D industry projects. His research interests include power conversion, electrical drives, electrical machine design and analysis, electric transportation, hydrogen powertrain, energy storage, smart-house, and microgrid.
