I joined the University of Huddersfield as a Lecturer in Law in October 2019, while completing my PhD at the University of Birmingham. I am a qualified solicitor, and prior to commencing my PhD I practised for three years in the area of Commercial Litigation.
My research interests are broadly in the subject of Human Rights Law; specifically, the death penalty in the United States of America, and experiences of severely mentally ill individuals in the criminal justice system.
