Biography

I am a qualified Social Worker, with work experience mainly focusing on working with people with disabilities and looked after children. 

I am currently module leader for the Practice Educator modules (stage 1 and 2). I am also placement co-ordinator for pre-qualifying Social Work students. 

I work closely within the Yorkshire Urban and Rural Social Work Teaching Partnership and am a member of the placement board.

I am currently undertaking a PhD looking at the experiences of participation of looked after children with a learning disability.
