Biography
I am a registered and experienced social worker, with statutory work experience supporting people with disabilities and looked after children. I am a qualified Practice Educator with experience of supporting social work students on their local authority placements.
I am the course leader for the two-year social work MSc. I am also leader of the Practice Educator courses (stage 1 and 2). I previously held the role of placement coordinator and teach across several modules.
I work closely within the Yorkshire Urban and Rural Social Work Teaching Partnership and am a member of the placement board.
I completed a PhD which explored the participatory experiences of looked after children with a learning disability.
