Biography
Liz Bennett is the Director of Teaching and Learning for the School of Education and Professional Development. Liz's research focusses on digitally augmented education from the perspetive of students, teachers and institutions. Her work on students' responses to dashboards was awarded the Researcher of the Year award from Association for Learning Technology in 2017. Prior to working at University of Huddersfield she worked at the Open University and University of Central Lancashire
Liz is an active member of the Association for Learning Technology, ALT. She has served as Trustee, one of the Editors of ALT’s Newsletter, and as reviewer for the annual conference. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and member of the Society for Research in Higher Education, SRHE.
She was awarded a Scoping Award from the SRHE to investigate students' responses to learner dashboards in 2017.
