Liz Bennett is the Director of Teaching and Learning for the School of Education and Professional Development. Liz joined the University in 2005 as a Senior Lecturer and became a University Teaching Fellow in 2014. She has been Course Leader for a range of courses including MSc Technology Enhanced Learning and the masters courses in Education. Prior to working at University of Huddersfield she worked at the Open University and University of Central Lancashire
Liz is an active member of the Association for Learning Technology, ALT. She has served as Trustee, one of the Editors of ALT’s Newsletter, and as reviewer for the annual conference. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and member of the Society for Research in Higher Education, SRHE.
She was awarded a Scoping Award from the SRHE to investigate students' responses to learner dashboards in 2017.
