Biography
I joined the University of Huddersfield as a lecturer for the Trainee Nursing Associate (TNA) students in July 2020. I am a module leader within HFA 1006 Foundations for Nursing Associates 2 and teach within this module. In addition, I am an associate teacher within many other modules on the TNA course.
I have acheived both my Registered Nurse Adult and Registered Nurse Child qualifications and registration. Furthermore, I have completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Community Public Helath Nursing 2013 joining part 3 of the NMC Register. I have clinical experience in adult nursing, paediatrics, school nursing and public health.
In addition, I have completed an MSC in Public Health, 2015. I have also acheived my mentorship qualification, having completed the ENB 998 Teaching & Asessing in clinical Practise Course, 2011 and a post graduation as a Practice Teacher, 2019.
Since starting at the University I have completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Health Education 2020-21.
