Mark is a Senior Lecturer in Law and joined the University in 2005.  

Education and Training
Mark undertook the Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) at the University of Huddersfield, then completed the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) at the Inns of Court School of Law (ICSL) in London before going on to complete his Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Huddersfield.  Mark then went on to successfully complete pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in South Yorkshire. 

Professional Practice
Mark spent a brief period in practice as a barrister with the CPS in Greater Manchester before joining the University of Huddersfield as a Senior Lecturer in Law.

Mark is currently a part-time distance learning PhD student at the University of Manchester.
