Biography
Dr. Amoozgar is a Senior Lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering Department at University of Huddersfield. Before joining Huddersfield, he was a postdoc research fellow in the Zienkiewicz centre of computational engineering at Swansea University. His research focuses on the simulation and analysis of aeroelastic and dynamical systems, and development of novel structural solutions to challenging problems in engineering. The research undertaken by Dr. Amoozgar is concept driven and spans a range of disciplines including structures, morphing technology, aeroelasticity, dynamics and vibration, aircraft design, mechanics, and composite materials characterization.
