Dr Muhibul Haq has joined the Business School, University of Huddersfield in October 2018 as a Lecturer in Human Resource Management. Muhibul has 16-plus years of industry experience in Small Business Management with specific focus on Human Resource Management and Marketing.

Muhibul has completed his PhD from the School of Management at the University of Bradford in 2018. His research focus has been on Entrepreneurship, HRM, and Small Business Management. His thesis is entitled: “The role of Intangible Human Factors in Business Success in South Asian Ethnic Minority Small Businesses.”

He has published two journal articles in peer-reviewed journals during his PhD journey. In addition, he has widely presented his research in high-profile conferences in various universities through the UK.

He also has entrepreneurial experience as he part-owned and part-managed a very profitable small business for eight years before it sold in 2016.

Prior to his MSc in Project Planning g and Management from Bradford Centre for International Development, Muhibul worked for International Development organisations, such as The United Nations Development Programme, The International Fund for Auricular Development, and The Aga Khan Foundation.
