Biography

Nan joined the Huddersfield Business School in August 2014 as a lecturer in International Business. Prior to this, Nan completed her BA in Business Finance from Durham University, and MSc in Finance and then PhD in International Business and Strategy from the University of York, UK. Her PhD thesis adopts an integrated framework in conceptual development and addresses three empirical questions surrounding the internationalisation of Chinese firms. Nan’s research interests focus on investigating the determinants, impacts and performance of Chinese outward foreign direct investment (FDI).
