  • 2009-2010 Secondment to Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Multidisiplinary Foot Clinic Team. Key roles, responsibilities and achievements – Development and roll out of an educational programme for all those involved within the management and assessment of the diabetic foot. Clinical audits in areas such as wound care outcomes, caseload review of the MDT team which contributed to the development of wound care clinics within community and development of hospital based podiatry role. Mentorship of peers undertaking clinical rotation within the acute MDT clinic. Key roles, responsibilites and achievements - clinical care for patients presenting with podiatric pathologies, with a particular focus upon those with long term conditions, altered lower limb biomechanics, wound care, tissue viability, charcot foot. Lead clinician for the multidisciplinary footwear clinic for Dales locality. I was a member of the Trent Podiatric Diabetes Network, ensuring standardisation of podiatry care for patients with diabetes across the trent region, including the development of care pathways. I undertook clinical audit in areas such as reviewing diabetes risk assessments and subsequent care. Review of patient satisfaction with footwear.Mentorship of peers and therapy assistants undertaking Podiatry assistant qualificationTheoretical and practical teaching and assessment of practice nurses and therapy assistants undertaking low risk diabetes foot assessmentsParticipation within patient education programmes. I was also the Allied Health Professional representative on Professional Executive Committee for the Trust.
