Nick Deakin has been working commercially as an independent illustrator and graphic designer for over ten years, in this time producing work for clients such as Coca-Cola, Shell, Nike, The New York Times, The Guardian, as well as exhibiting worldwide. He continues his commercial and personal practices under the studio moniker studio Totally Okay.

Nick Deakin’s research focuses on print and screen based narratives. These media are considered to exist in a contemporary composition of fractured time and space. He frames this assumed ontological condition in the ideologies of an accelerated visual culture.
