Biography

Nicola is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Huddersfield. She completed her Ph.D. at Leeds Beckett University in 2020. Nicola’s research is focused on frequent users of urgent and emergency healthcare services, inequities within healthcare, and patient safety. She has had the opportunity to present her research in the UK, Europe, and America.

She is the course lead for the MSc health Studies programme and supervisors’ a number of research projects to develop and evaluate healthcare, social care, and community interventions. One of Nicola’s research interests is how patients interact with healthcare services and ultimately experience care.
