Biography
Paul is a two-time recipient of the distinguished Commonwealth Scholarship for outstanding scholars from developing countries having obtained a First Class undergraduate degree in Law and a Distinction in his Masters' studies. He obtained a PhD in Environmental Law from the University of Exeter and his research expertise is in the broad range of energy, natural resources and environmental law and policy. His extensive research experience and publications in this field earned him an endorsement as an Exceptional Talent in Legal Research by the British Academy in 2019. Paul's teaching speciality is in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice System and he also teaches on a broad range of foundational law modules including Torts, Equity and Trusts and Land, Property Law and Practice.
