Biography

Paul is a Lecturer in Strategic Leadership and Change Management in the Business School.  Paul joined the University of Huddersfield in 2011 on retiring from the Fire Service after 28 years.

Committed to the student experience, Paul has provided development to management modules to ensure they meet the needs of students helping them to develop the skills and knowledge required by businesses today. Recently Paul was nominated by students for the staff Thank You awards recognising his support of students and their learning.

Paul’s management background is based in the public sector, working for a large Metropolitan Fire & Rescue Service.  Having achieved business and project management qualifications in a real world context, Paul leads on a module examining the role of strategic leadership in managing organisational change.  Paul is experienced in teaching and supporting UK, EU, post experienced and international students and has taught in Hong Kong delivering a final year module at our partner organisation.
