Biography

Mr. Paul Singh (BSc BEng MSc AMIChemE FHEA) was appointed Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering at the beginning of 2016.  Originally from Canada, he spent the first part of his working life providing training and supporting oil and gas companies in Northern Alberta.  Subsequently, he left Canada and spent approximately 9-10 years in the Middle East working on various contracts varying from teaching / training, installation of process pilot plant equipment, and performing the role of fleet analysis and controls advising at the world’s largest LNG producer, Qatargas Operating Company Ltd.

Currently, he is working on his PhD in Big Data, IoT, and Data Analytics in Chemical Engineering.  Within the Chemical Engineering department, he lectures specifically on topics surrounding reaction engineering, safety engineering and process control.
