Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer on the Interior Design BA(Hons) course, currently co-ordinating and running modules for Second and placement Year Students on the course. I joined the University in 2005. I graduated with a BA(Hons) Interior Design in 2001. Following this I worked for some time as a Freelance Designer on bar and restaurant projects whilst teaching on an F.E. National Diploma course at Dewsbury College. I now hold a full-time post at the University of Huddersfield and use my industry experience and background to support the students learning.

Research Expertise and Interests

  • Peer learning in design studies and exploiting theories of social constructivism and the Zone of Proximal Development

Fingerprint Fingerprint is based on mining the text of the person's scientific documents to create an index of weighted terms, which defines the key subjects of each individual researcher.
