Biography

I qualified as a nurse in 2010, from the Manipal University in India. After achieving the nursing qualification in India in 2010, I went to Nepal and worked there briefly in emergency department and cardiac unit, and also as a researcher.  I did my Mph from the university of Sheffield (2011-2012).  I gained my nursing registration in the Uk in 2013 and started working in various areas. I briefly worked in Nursing home , and then after gained my experience as an Anaesthetics and recovery Practitioner for a couple of years in the University of Oxford Hospitals. After that, worked in Intensive care unit in cardiothoracic specialised hospital in London over four years. As a well trained ECMO nurse, I was involved actively in looking after very sick covid patients placed in ECMO during pandemic.

I joined university of Huddersfield since May 2021, as an Adult Lecturer nursing.

I have one publication so far, published in aging and mental health Publication. I had done Intensive care Adut Practice - Level 7 Module.
