I am a social scientist holding a PhD from the Leeds University business School. Two strands of interrelated knowledge domains characterise my research work. I have a keen interest in digitally-enabled capabilities at both the organizational and supply chain levels. In particular, my work focuses on the emerging operations and business model innovations in the smart cities landscape with an emphasis on issues relating to resilience, sustainability and production democratisation.  My other research stream seeks to examine the dynamics of entrepreneurial ecosystem development more generally, with a focus on the Southern African region. My current project is aimed at unpacking the relationship between the blue economy and entrepreneurial prosperity in some Small Island States (SIDS) of Africa
