Dr. Sadia Haque is a lecturer in marketing at Huddersfield Business School. She has a doctoral degree in marketing from Northumbria University, UK. She also holds an MSc in Marketing from the University of Nottingham, UK and an MBA from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB). Sadia's research interest broadly lies in marketing communication, consumer pscyhology, ethical/moral consumption, branding, and counterfeiting. Sadia's research has been published in reputed peer-reviewed journals, like in British Journal of Social Psychology and in Journal of Brand Management. In addition to that Sadia presented her research works in several highly esteemed academic conferences, like American Marketing Association (AMA) Academic Conference, Academy of Marketing Conference. One of her research papers received the 'Best Paper in People and Branding Track' award in 2019 AMA Summer Academic Conference held in Chicago, IL. 

Sadia has more than 6 years of full-time teaching experience at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) where she taught several marketing modules. Sadia's teaching practice is also influenced by her industry work experience. She worked several years for Bangladesh's leading fashion and lifestyle brand, Aarong-BRAC.  At Aarong-BRAC, she was responsible to manage ATL and BTL communications. She has a generous experience of working closely with advertising agencies too in promoting brands. During her PhD, Sadia also worked as a PhD Tutor for The Brilliant Club, UK.

At Huddersfield Business School, Sadia leads a number of undergraduate marketing modules including international marketing, creative marketing communication, developing creative marketing content, and creative consultancy project.
