Biography

Dr Shahid have vast experience in academics and industry more than 8+ years, which is aligned with the UK competitive markets. Currently, I am working as a research fellow at the University of Huddersfield, UK. My research fields include wearable, flexible, transparent, and sensing antenna architectures, wearable biomedical and Internet of Thing devices for the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM), WiFi, fifth generation (5G) and beyond (B5G). I published 17 + research articles in top-notch journals and conferences, with an impact factor of 18.80, according to Thomas Reuters Journal Citation Report 2023, and 145 citations documented by Google Scholar. I also worked in top-notch organizations, telecom and optical manufacturing industries in Pakistan, and Malaysia, as well as worked as a reviewer for top-notch letter and journal.

Research Expertise and Interests

Research experties includes different types of wearables, flexible, and transparent, sensing antenna architectures, Metamaterials surfaces, biomedical devices, wireless communication systems, System on Chip (SoC) technology, flexible and rigid printed circuit board devices, integration methods, biocompatible materials, 5G and beyond technologies, Internet-of-Things (IoTs), and human body modelling systems
